DC Comics announced on Friday that Rob Liefeld will be taking over three New 52 titles beginning in May […] This news comes after Liefeld’s having replaced Sterling Gates as the writer of Hawk & Dove, which itself was one of the six New 52 titles conformed for cancelation earlier this week, and will be seen by some observers as irrefutable proof that time, space and all the components of existence as we understand them are but ants under the mighty New Balance sneaker of Rob Liefeld.

Seriously, DC. You give the guy a title, it tanks, then your reaction is “hey, let’s give him three more?” You certainly weren’t this forgiving of “failure” when the Wonder Woman movie didn’t sell as quickly as the dude superhero movies, even though it ended up selling a decent amount of copies. You talk all the time about titles failing because they weren’t what the customers wanted (usually because they starred a female character). Why can’t you see that any title featuring Rob Liefield is a title that customers don’t want?
